Hey Girl, Me Too!

Hey Girl, Me Too!

Because sometimes, the most powerful words a woman can hear are “I understand.”

Hey girl, me too!

Have you ever smiled on the outside while silently trying to hold everything together on the inside? Have you ever been the strong one for everybody else, even when you felt like you had nothing left to give?

Have you ever wanted to say, “I'm tired,” but worried that someone might think you were weak? Have you ever questioned yourself, doubted your decisions, or wondered if you were the only one struggling to figure it all out?

Girl, me too!

And that’s exactly why we need to talk.

Sometimes, as women, we put so much pressure on ourselves to have it all together. We try to be the perfect mother, daughter, sister, friend, partner, and professional. We show up for everyone, answer the phone when somebody needs us, offer words of encouragement, and carry burdens that nobody even knows we’re carrying.

But who checks on the woman who checks on everybody else?

Who reminds her that she deserves rest, too? Who tells her that it’s okay to have a bad day, to change her mind, to set boundaries, and to admit that she doesn’t have all the answers?

Let me remind you, sis: you are human, and you don't have to be everything to everybody all the time.

The Power of “Me Too”

There is something beautiful about being able to share your story and hear another woman say, “Girl, me too!”

It reminds you that you aren't alone.

When you feel like you're the only one starting over, someone else is rebuilding her life, too.

When you feel like you're the only one healing from heartbreak, someone else is learning how to put the pieces back together, too.

When you feel like you're the only one trying to find her confidence again, another woman is standing in front of the mirror, learning to love herself, too.

And when you feel like everybody else has life figured out except you, trust me, there are women out there asking themselves the very same questions.

We don't always talk about these things because we fear judgment. We worry that people won't understand, that our vulnerability will be mistaken for weakness, or that our stories will become someone else's conversation.

But imagine what could happen if we created more spaces where women could be honest without being criticized, vulnerable without being shamed, and imperfect without feeling less worthy.

Imagine if, instead of comparing ourselves, we encouraged one another.

Instead of competing, we collaborated.

Instead of judging, we listened.

Instead of pretending, we told the truth.

What if we became the kind of women who made other women feel safe enough to say, “I'm struggling,” knowing they would hear, “Hey girl, me too!”

You Don't Have to Have It All Figured Out

Let’s normalize being a work in progress.

You can be grateful for your life and still want more. You can love your family and still need time for yourself. You can be strong and still need support. You can have faith and still have questions.

You can be proud of how far you've come and still acknowledge how far you have to go.

None of those things makes you ungrateful, selfish, or inadequate.

They make you human.

Life doesn't always follow the timeline we imagined. Sometimes plans change. Sometimes relationships end. Sometimes opportunities fall through. Sometimes we have to start over when we thought we would be further along by now.

And sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is give ourselves permission to begin again.

So, girl, if you're in a season of uncertainty, give yourself some grace. If you're healing, take your time. If you're growing, celebrate the small steps. And if you're still trying to figure out what comes next, remember that you don't have to know the entire journey to take the next step.

Your story is still being written.

Let's Be There for Each Other

I believe there is room for all of us to shine.

Another woman's beauty doesn't diminish yours. Her success doesn't mean you're failing. Her happiness doesn't mean your time won't come.

We can celebrate each other without feeling threatened. We can learn from each other without feeling inferior. We can hold space for each other's pain while celebrating each other's victories.

Sometimes, support doesn't require a grand gesture. It can be a simple text that says, “Hey girl, how are you really doing?”

It can be listening without trying to fix everything. It can be offering encouragement when someone feels defeated. It can be reminding another woman of her worth when life has made her forget.

And sometimes, it can be sharing your own story so someone else doesn't feel ashamed of hers.

Never underestimate the power of letting another woman know she's not alone.

Your honesty might give someone else the courage to speak. Your encouragement might help someone keep going. Your kindness might be exactly what someone needs on a difficult day.

We may not have lived the same lives, but we can still offer one another understanding, compassion, and respect.

Hey Girl, This Is Your Reminder

You are allowed to take up space.

You are allowed to speak your truth.

You are allowed to protect your peace.

You are allowed to outgrow situations that no longer serve you.

You are allowed to rest without feeling guilty.

You are allowed to dream again, love again, laugh again, and believe in yourself again.

And you are allowed to be a woman who is still figuring things out.

You don't have to hide every struggle behind a smile. You don't have to pretend to be okay just to make other people comfortable. You don't have to walk through every difficult season alone.

Sometimes, all we need is a reminder that someone understands.

So, the next time you feel overwhelmed, discouraged, uncertain, or simply tired of trying to hold everything together, remember this:

Somewhere, another woman understands what it feels like.

Somewhere, another woman is learning, healing, growing, and beginning again.

And somewhere, another woman is waiting to hear your story so she can look you in the eyes and say:

“Hey girl, me too!”

And maybe, just maybe, that's where healing begins—not in having all the answers, but in discovering that we don't have to face every question alone.

With love, grace, and a whole lot of understanding,

Hey girl. Me too. ❤️
