There is a woman reading this right now who has been strong for everybody else. She has shown up when she was tired. She has smiled when she wanted to cry. She has encouraged others while quietly wondering who would encourage her. Maybe that woman is you.
If it is, I want you to pause for a moment and breathe.
You don't have to be strong every second.
You are allowed to admit that something hurt you. You are allowed to acknowledge that you're tired. You are allowed to grieve the things you lost, the person you used to be, and even the version of your life you thought you would have by now.
Healing doesn't mean pretending it never happened.
Healing means allowing God to meet you in the places that still hurt.
